Mohammed Jinnat Ali (born 1976) is the CEO & Managing Director of JAR GROUP and founder of JAR World. Based in Chittagong, Bangladesh, he leads a diversified portfolio of companies across shipping, logistics, international trading, eCommerce, tea brands, media and social impact.
He serves as President of JAR Foundation, is deeply involved in journalism through JAR News, and actively promotes JAR TEA as an international certified tea taster and brand face.
Born in 1976 in Chittagong, Bangladesh, Jinnat Ali grew up in the port city that shaped his passion for shipping, logistics and international trade. Over the years he expanded his work into technology, eCommerce, tea brands and journalism — building the wider ecosystem known today as JAR GROUP.
He leads multiple companies including shipping line operations, crew management, logistics, export & import, tea and consumer brands, and online marketplaces. Alongside business, he is committed to social responsibility through JAR Foundation and health, education and community work.
